Introducing Facebook’s New Pages Experience + September Training Opportunities!

There are lots of exciting things happening at Facebook over the next few weeks and I wanted to take the time to outline some of the offerings available to you as a government partner at Facebook. Please feel welcome to share this with other colleagues and local government partners as you’d like!

New Pages Experience & Trainings:

We are rolling out a new Page experience to make it easier for Pages like yours to build community and engage with the people you serve. You might see a notification about this on Facebook soon, so here’s what you need to know!

New design, new features

The new Page experience allows you to manage your Page better to build community, raise awareness around important issues and keep your community safe and informed.

This will include a more intuitive layout that allows followers to see essential information on your Page and simplify how they connect with you. It also features a dedicated News Feed to create more meaningful interactions with other Pages and join timely and relevant conversations on Facebook. Other features include updated admin controls, more actionable insights and robust safety and integrity features. See all the features and tools that the New Page experience offers here on our blog

Timing

This should be coming to government, political, advocacy and non-profit pages soon, however we will keep you updated on the exact timing. In the meantime, we will have 7 trainings available to you throughout the month of September. Register here!
