Webinar Recap - Selling Safety to Older Adults: Try This Instead

This webinar focused on promoting older adult falls prevention, highlighting the importance of tailored messaging and trusted resources. Peg Paul introduced new free resources from Vision 20/20 developed with Marketing for Change, emphasizing the need for effective communication and understanding the target audience's motivations and barriers. Key findings included the importance of tone, trusted sources like the fire service, insurance companies and AARP, and the need to avoid patronizing language. Dr. Nathan Estrada stressed the significance of addressing ageism and sexism in research, using positive intent, and offering actionable options. He also highlighted the importance of scheduling efficacy and de-risking failure to enhance engagement and success.
